The final episode of KBS2's "The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile" aired on August 1, 2025, marking the end of Park Bo-gum's five-month journey as host. The episode was filled with music, emotions, and surprise appearances from some of the biggest names in K-pop, including a heartwarming video message from BTS's V.

Park Bo-gum, who has been praised for his warm personality and ability to connect with guests and audiences, expressed his gratitude and emotions as he wrapped up his role as MC. He shared that he wished he could have stayed longer on the program but had to focus on his acting career.

One of the highlights of the finale was the surprise appearance of IU, who is a close friend of Park Bo-gum. IU's unexpected arrival moved Park Bo-gum to tears. She appeared on stage with flowers and hosted a short segment with Park, where he opened up about his journey as MC. The two friends also closed out the show with a moving duet performance.

Adding to the heartfelt atmosphere, BTS's V, another close friend of Park Bo-gum, sent a video message to cheer on the actor as he wrapped up his MC duties. In the video, V expressed his sadness for being unable to attend the finale in person due to preparations for BTS's upcoming album in the US. He then added, "If one day there is another chance, I'd like to do a shoot together". V also encouraged the audience to continue cherishing and loving "Cantabile". Furthermore, he hinted that BTS would be releasing a "cool album" next spring.

The finale also featured performances by Kim Bum-soo, Zion.T, and the cast of "Let Me Fly". Kim Bum-soo and Park Bo-gum performed a piano duet, while Zion.T premiered a special track for "Cantabile". Actors from the musical "Let Me Fly," including Kim Tae-han and Yoon Gong-ju, shared stories about Park Bo-gum's sincerity.

To commemorate the season finale, Park Bo-gum released a digital single, "Uphill (Feat. Yoon Jong-shin)," on August 1. The episode also included letters from viewers and a song gift from Noh Young-sim, the first guest on the show.

"The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile" has been lauded for its diverse range of artists and meaningful conversations. Park Bo-gum's gentle charisma and unique ability to connect with both guests and the audience have made the show a must-watch for K-music lovers.
