The makers of the upcoming comedy-drama "Rahu Ketu" have released its teaser on social media, giving audiences a colorful first look at this astrology-themed comedy-drama. The film is slated to release in cinemas on January 16, 2026.

The teaser opens with Piyush Mishra in a striking, mysterious avatar, playing a character who understands "dasha" and "disha" far beyond the ordinary world. After a chance meeting with him, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma are suddenly turned into present-day versions of Rahu and Ketu. This transformation triggers a chain of events that turns their lives upside down, leading to a series of cosmic mishaps, astrology-driven confusion, and sharp, situational comedy. The teaser blends folklore with modern humor, offering a playful take on fate and celestial forces. Shalini Pandey also appears briefly, adding curiosity about her role and the twists she may bring to the storyline.

The film reunites Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma after their popular pairing in the "Fukrey" series. "Rahu Ketu" also stars Chunky Pandey, Amit Sial, and Manurishi Chaddha, forming a lively ensemble cast. The film is written and directed by Vipul Vig and produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Pragati Deshmukh, Suraj Singh, and Varsha Kukreja under the Zee Studios and BLive Productions banners.
