The film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, had its grand premiere in Japan on January 16, 2026. The movie is also being released on approximately 250 screens across Japan under the title Pushpa Kunrin.

The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. Pushpa 2: The Rule is directed by Sukumar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, in association with Sukumar Writings. The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
