The tension between Ashnoor and Malti escalated when Ashnoor questioned Malti about bringing family matters into arguments. Malti, sister of Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar, entered the Bigg Boss 19 house as a wildcard contestant. She made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with the film Genius and has appeared in other films.

During the task, Ashnoor intentionally hit Tanya with a wooden plank, sparking outrage on social media.
