Miley Cyrus has confirmed her engagement to long-time boyfriend, Maxx Morando, after four years of dating. The news broke following the "Avatar: Fire and Ash" premiere in Hollywood on December 1st, where the singer was seen sporting a dazzling diamond ring on her left ring finger.
Cyrus, 33, and Morando, 27, made a striking appearance at the premiere of James Cameron's highly anticipated film. Cyrus stunned in a black strapless sequin gown by Gucci with a mermaid-style train, accessorized with a shimmering necklace and the prominent diamond ring. Morando complemented her look in a matching tuxedo. As they posed for photos, Cyrus made sure to showcase the ring, further fueling the engagement rumors that had already begun to circulate online.
The engagement ring features a cushion-cut diamond set in a chunky 14-karat gold band. Publicist Francesca Simons, representing jeweler Jacquie Aiche, shared details on Instagram, confirming the ring's design. Cyrus had previously been seen wearing the ring in a photo shared on Instagram in late November while celebrating her 33rd birthday.
Sources confirm that the couple's families and friends are delighted about their decision to get married. A source told E! News in October 2022 that, "Everyone in her family loves them together and thinks they mesh really well".
