Vedika Pinto Cast Opposite John Abraham In Third Instalment
The search for the leading lady in Force 3 has concluded, with actress Vedika Pinto joining the cast opposite John Abraham. Pinto, known for her roles in Operation Romeo and Nishaanchi, will be sharing screen space with Abraham, who has reacquired the rights to the Force franchise. Harshvardhan Rane is also set to star in the film.
Force 3 is the third installment in the action franchise, with Bhav Dhulia, known for directing the web series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, at the helm. John Abraham is rebooting the Force franchise, and is committed to keeping the "desi" elements of the films. According to reports, Abraham has been quietly developing Force 3 for the past two years.
The Force franchise began in 2011 with Force, directed by Nishikant Kamat, where Abraham played ACP Yashvardhan Singh. The film was a sleeper hit, and Abraham reprised his role in the 2016 sequel, Force 2, alongside Sonakshi Sinha.
Reportedly, Force 3 is expected to go on floors towards the end of 2025. Abraham is currently filming a biopic on former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, which is slated for release in the first half of 2026. He will begin shooting Force 3 after completing the biopic.
Earlier reports had indicated that Meenakshi Chaudhary was in talks for the female lead, but she reportedly chose to work on an Akshay Kumar film instead. According to sources, John Abraham and Bhav Dhulia auditioned numerous actresses before choosing Pinto for the role.
Harshvardhan Rane expressed his gratitude towards Abraham for the opportunity to join the cast. He shared on Instagram that he will begin shooting in March 2026.
The film is expected to feature raw action and a powerful villain to match Abraham's role. Sources suggest that the makers are looking to cast a strong actor to play the negative lead, aiming for an action-packed face-off similar to Abraham and Vidyut Jammwal in the first Force film.
Force 3 will be produced by John Abraham's JA Entertainment.
