"The Boys" Season 5: Explosive Teaser Drops, Premiere Date Set for April 8, 2026

The highly anticipated final season of "The Boys" is set to premiere on April 8, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. The announcement, made at CCXP Brazil, was accompanied by the release of an explosive teaser trailer, giving fans a glimpse of the grim future that awaits.

The premiere will feature the first two episodes of the season, followed by weekly releases, culminating in the series finale on May 20, 2026. Showrunner Eric Kripke, along with series stars Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, and Colby Minifie, celebrated the announcement with over 3,000 fans at CCXP Brazil.

The teaser reveals a world under Homelander's complete control. Hughie, Mother's Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a "Freedom Camp," while Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. However, Butcher returns, готовый использовать вирус, который сотрет всех супов с карты, запуская цепь событий, которые навсегда изменят мир и всех в нем.

The trailer also offers a first look at Jared Padalecki's appearance, reuniting with his "Supernatural" co-star Jensen Ackles. While Ackles reprises his role as Soldier Boy, Padalecki's role remains a mystery. Misha Collins, another "Supernatural" alum, is also set to join the cast in an undisclosed role.

According to the official synopsis, Season 5 will see Homelander's erratic and egomaniacal whims ruling the world. The teaser suggests a reluctant alliance between The Boys, with Butcher rallying the team for one last stand against Homelander. The stakes are high, and the trailer hints at major deaths and a potentially devastating showdown.

The final season of "The Boys" will not only follow the events of Season 4 but also connect to Season 2 of the spin-off series "Gen V". While some fans hoped for a crossover with Marie from "Gen V," Kripke has stated that she won't appear in Season 5.

With the premiere date set, fans can anticipate an explosive and unforgettable conclusion to "The Boys" saga. The series is based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Eric Kripke developed the show, also serving as executive producer. "The Boys" is produced by Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.
