Aashram Season 4: Bobby Deol's Popular Series Expected to Start Filming Again in 2026.

The highly anticipated fourth season of the web series "Aashram," starring Bobby Deol, is set to resume filming in early 2026. This confirmation comes from actress Tridha Choudhury, who plays Babita in the series. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Choudhury revealed the filming schedule, much to the excitement of fans.

"Aashram," directed by Prakash Jha, has garnered significant attention since its first season premiered in August 2020. The series, which streams on MX Player and Amazon Prime Video, revolves around the character of Baba Nirala, a self-proclaimed godman who exploits his followers. The previous seasons have been successful due to the show's bold storyline and powerful performances.

The fourth season was initially expected to be released in December 2024, but it was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. While an official release date for the fourth season remains unconfirmed, reports suggest it may be available either at the end of 2025 or sometime in early 2026.

Most of the popular characters from the previous seasons are expected to return. Bobby Deol will reprise his role as Baba Nirala. Alongside Deol, the series will likely feature Aaditi Pohankar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Darshan Kumaar, Anupria Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, Tridha Choudhury, Vikram Kochhar, Tushar Pandey, Sachin Shroff, Anuritta Jha, Rajeev Siddhartha, Parinitaa Seth, Tanmaay Ranjan, Preeti Sood, Esha Gupta, Jahangir Khan, Kanupriya Gupta and Navdeep Tomar.

The upcoming season is expected to delve deeper into themes of power, manipulation, and hidden agendas. Key storylines are likely to focus on Pammi's revenge, Baba Nirala's power struggles, and Bhopa Swami's increasing control. Viewers can anticipate more political drama, mind games, and shocking twists.

Choudhury also shared an interesting anecdote about how she landed her role in "Aashram". She recounted meeting Madhvi Bhatt, the DA, in a supermarket, who persuaded Prakash Jha to consider her for the role. According to Choudhury, Jha was initially hesitant, feeling she looked too young for the part.

In addition to "Aashram 4," Choudhury is also working on a film tentatively titled "Akhri Sawal," starring Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, and Sanjay Dutt. She will be playing a university student who talks about a forgotten chapter in history.

"Aashram" has been a significant turning point in Choudhury's career, making her a household name. She shared that she is often greeted with "Japnaam" by fans, a testament to the show's impact. The actress also bravely opened up about her past mental health struggles, noting that while she received recognition for playing a strong character in "Aashram," she faced personal challenges.
