Dhurandhar
Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, continues its dominant run. This action-packed thriller, inspired by true events and set against the backdrop of the criminal underworld with elements of Indian patriotism, has captivated audiences with its strong performances and gripping storyline. Released on December 5, 2025, Dhurandhar has garnered positive reviews for its direction, cinematography, and action sequences, although its lengthy runtime of 214 minutes has been a point of criticism. Dhurandhar earned ₹28 crore on its opening day. By its second Sunday, day 10, the movie had earned ₹59 crore. The film's total collection is ₹351.75 crore and is expected to cross ₹500 crore soon. Dhurandhar is slated for its OTT debut on Netflix in January 2026. A sequel, Dhurandhar: Part 2 – Revenge, is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
Akhanda 2: Thaandavam
Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, the sequel to the 2021 hit Akhanda, hit theaters on December 12, 2025. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, the film reunites him with director Boyapati Srinu. Akhanda 2 opened to ₹22.5 crore and earned ₹8 crore from paid premiere shows. Day 2 of release saw earnings of ₹15.5 crore, followed by ₹15 crore on Day 3, bringing the total net collection to ₹61 crore in three days. Netflix is reportedly pushing for an OTT release on December 25 to capitalize on the holiday season.
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2
Kapil Sharma returns with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, a comedy-drama directed by Anukalp Goswami. While facing stiff competition, the film has maintained a steady pace at the box office. On its opening day, the movie collected ₹1.85 crore and went on to mint ₹2.50 crore on Day 2. By Sunday, it earned ₹2.85 crore, bringing the total to ₹7.20 crore.
Saali Mohabbat
