Shilpa Shinde Hints at "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai" Return, Describing it as a Nostalgic Experience.

Shilpa Shinde's return to "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0" as Angoori Bhabi is generating excitement among fans, with the actress herself describing it as "revisiting a..." significant part of her career and life. The popular comedy show is set to premiere on &TV on December 22, marking Shinde's comeback to the character after nearly ten years.

Shinde, who originally left the show due to disagreements with the producers, expressed surprise at finding herself back in the role. "10 years is a very long journey," she stated, adding that she never thought she would return or play the role again. Despite the time that has passed, Shinde says she feels like she is returning to where she truly belongs.

The actress revealed that she was often asked by fans when she would return as Angoori Bhabi. Shinde emphasized that her return is for the audience, aiming to fulfill the desires of fans who felt unfulfilled earlier. "Today, I am back for the audience, so that they can be happy and fulfill the desires they had that were unfulfilled. I will complete them," she said.

Shinde also shared that the role of Angoori Bhabi never really left her, with people continuing to call her by that name on social media and in real life. "I never felt that Angoori Bhabi ever left me, even when I wasn't playing her on screen," she explained.

The new season of "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai" brings a supernatural twist, with the story shifting to Ghunghatganj. A recently released promo hints at a spooky storyline, featuring a veiled female statue that adds a scary feel to the comedy. Despite the change in location, the makers promise the same light-hearted comedy that made the show a hit.

Shinde praised her co-stars, including Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, and Vidisha Srivastava, for welcoming her back with warmth. She said it instantly felt like home. Vidisha Srivastava, who plays Anita Bhabhi, described "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0" as an advanced version of the show, promising the same fun and comedy but in a new package.

Shinde acknowledged the controversies surrounding her initial exit and the challenges that come with replacing actors. She emphasized that her return is not about replacement but about reclaiming her character, stating that she is the original Bhabi. "It's like taking back something that was my baby," she declared.

Shinde revealed that the passing of the show's former writer, Manoj Santoshi, was a turning point in her decision to return. She said that Santoshi always wanted her to come back and that his passing had a profound impact on her.

Aasif Sheikh teased that there would be a lot of fun in the new season. The positive response to the teaser and announcement has reassured Shinde that Angoori Bhabi still connects strongly with audiences. She expressed her only concern about returning, which is that people find the same Angoori in her again. "Angoori mein zyada Shilpa Shinde nahi dikhni chahiye," she said. The actress added, "My only concern is that people find the same Angoori in me again. We will definitely try to do better, but the essence has to remain intact".
