Rajat Bedi, known for his role in "Koi Mil Gaya," has recently accused Mukesh Khanna of misrepresenting his statements in a past interview. Bedi claims Khanna twisted his words to gain views, particularly regarding Bedi's decision to move to Canada.
The controversy stems from an interview where Bedi discussed his career and life choices after the release of "Koi Mil Gaya". In that interview, Bedi mentioned relocating to Canada, which Khanna allegedly exaggerated, according to Bedi. Bedi clarified that his comments were taken out of context and used to create a sensational narrative.
Bedi elaborated on the situation in a recent discussion with Siddharth Kannan, explaining his strong relationship with director Rakesh Roshan. He praised Roshan's supportive nature and unique ability to guide actors. Bedi stated that while he did mention moving to Canada after "Koi Mil Gaya," Khanna "manipulated my words to attract views".
In the original interview with Khanna, Bedi revealed that he moved to Canada after feeling excluded from the promotional activities for "Koi Mil Gaya," which starred Hrithik Roshan. He suggested that Roshan acted out scenes to demonstrate how they should appear on screen. Bedi's initial comments in the interview took many by surprise.
Bedi's career includes early work with Shah Rukh Khan and modeling stints with Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen. More recently, Bedi has been enjoying success following the launch of "The Ba*ds Of Bollywood," where he played the character Jaraj Saxena.
Khanna is known for his iconic role as Shaktimaan in the Indian television series of the same name. He also runs the YouTube channel "Bheeshm International," where the interview with Bedi was originally featured.
