Following the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, aimed at dismantling terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), superstar Rajinikanth has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces for their resolute action. The operation, launched in early May 2025, was a response to the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 people.

Rajinikanth conveyed his support through social media, commending the government and the armed forces for their skillful, strong, and vigorous handling of the situation. He emphasized the nation's solidarity, stating, "The fighter's fight begins… No stopping until the mission is accomplished! The entire NATION is with you". This statement resonated widely, garnering praise for the actor's patriotism and unwavering support for India.

Operation Sindoor involved precision strikes against nine terror camps across the border, targeting key figures from terror organizations such as Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). These groups were implicated in orchestrating attacks against India. The operation was closely monitored by Prime Minister Modi, ensuring the successful neutralization of all identified targets.

The Indian Armed Forces, in a press briefing, provided a detailed assessment of the operation, highlighting the heavy losses inflicted on the Pakistan military. According to military officials, approximately 35-40 Pakistani soldiers were killed on the Line of Control (LoC) between May 7 and May 10. While India lost five soldiers in the operation, all Indian Air Force pilots returned safely after engaging with Pakistani Air Force bases.

The success of Operation Sindoor has been attributed to the strategic planning and execution by key figures within the Indian Armed Forces. These officers include the directors general of military operations (DGMO), Lt General Rajiv Ghai; director general air operations (DGAO), Air Marshal AK Bharti; director general naval operations (DGNO), Vice Admiral AN Pramod; and Major General SS Sharda, ADG strategic communications.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized that Operation Sindoor was not merely a military action but a demonstration of India's political, social, and strategic resolve. He asserted that India's intention was to send a clear message that it would take decisive action against terrorism, ensuring that terror bases are not safe on either side of the border. Singh also highlighted the restraint shown by the Indian armed forces, noting that while Pakistan targeted civilian areas and even religious sites, India focused solely on terrorist infrastructure.

The operation has triggered widespread reactions, with numerous celebrities and citizens expressing their support for the armed forces. Actors like Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Allu Arjun, and Anupam Kher have also lauded the operation, highlighting the nation's united stance against terrorism.

Despite a ceasefire agreement reached between the two countries, violations were reported shortly after the announcement. Indian military officials have stated their readiness to respond fiercely to any further violations. The Indian armed forces remain vigilant and prepared to defend the nation's interests.
