Prime Video has released the official trailer for "We Were Liars," a new series based on the bestselling novel by E. Lockhart. The series is set to premiere on June 18, 2025, and stars Emily Alyn Lind as Cadence Sinclair Eastman. The story revolves around Cadence and her close-knit group of friends, nicknamed "the Liars," as they spend their summers on her grandfather's private island in New England.
The trailer opens with idyllic scenes of the Sinclair family on Beechwood Island, portraying a picture-perfect summer filled with laughter, beach outings, and blossoming romances. The series also stars Shubham Maheshwari as Gat Patil, Esther McGregor as Mirren Sinclair Sheffield, and Joseph Zada as Johnny Sinclair Dennis, who make up the rest of the Liars.
