Karley Scott Collins, a 26-year-old rising country star, has vehemently denied rumors linking her romantically to Keith Urban, 58, following his recent divorce from Nicole Kidman. The speculation, which suggested that Urban had "moved in" with Collins, was firmly shut down by the singer via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, January 18.
Collins addressed the rumors directly, responding to an article with the headline "Keith Urban moved in with Karley Scott Collins? Fresh speculation amid divorce". Her message was clear and concise: "Y'all, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue".
The rumors gained traction shortly after Urban and Kidman's divorce was finalized on January 6, ending their 19-year marriage. Court documents revealed that neither Urban nor Kidman would pay alimony or spousal support, and Kidman will serve as the primary parent to their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.
Collins, who opened for Urban on his 2025 High and Alive World Tour, first met Urban in 2024 after sending him the song "Write One" for a potential collaboration.
Prior to Collins, Urban was also linked to his guitarist, Maggie Baugh. However, those rumors were also quickly dismissed. Alexandra Kay, a friend of Baugh, stated that the rumors were "absolutely not true," insisting that Baugh is in a happy relationship and has no involvement with Urban.
Sources indicate that Urban and Kidman had been living apart since the beginning of summer 2025. Despite the separation, an insider claimed that Kidman had hoped the relationship could be salvaged, stating, "This wasn't Nicole's decision, and she is devastated".
Collins' direct response aims to dispel the false narrative and emphasize that the reports linking her to Urban are unfounded. By addressing the claims herself, she seeks to separate speculation from reality and put an end to the circulating rumors.
