Gaurav Khanna's Funny CID Shooting Story: A Hilarious Behind-the-Scenes Video Revealed!

In a recent interview, Gaurav Khanna, known for his role in the television series "Anupamaa," shared a humorous anecdote from his time working on the popular crime investigation show "CID". The actor, who briefly joined the CID team, revealed a funny behind-the-scenes moment related to the show's shooting locations and the cast's camaraderie.

Khanna recalled that he decided to join "CID" partly because the bureau's set was near his home. He lived in a complex with a wall adjoining the "CID" office, specifically the area where Dr. Salunkhe conducted his post-mortems. He thought it would be convenient, expecting shoots to be nearby.

However, his expectations were quickly dispelled. Instead of the anticipated easy commute, the shooting locations turned out to be far-flung, ranging from Naigaon to Vasai and Virar. This realization led him to quip that he felt like he had landed "raziaa gundo mein," a saying about finding oneself in a difficult situation.

Adding to the humor, Khanna shared that on the sets of "CID," the primary concern among the cast wasn't the script or the number of scenes for the day. Instead, the burning question was, "Aaj lunch mein kya aa raha hai?" (What's for lunch today?). This highlighted the light-hearted atmosphere and strong bond shared by the actors on the show.

Khanna also recounted an incident where he and Sudhanshu Pandey, were shooting on a set when someone informed him that Shivaji Satam and Daya Shetty from "CID" were on the floor above. He and Sudhanshu went to meet them, and it was then that he learned Sudhanshu had also been on "CID". They found Satam and Shetty shooting for an advertisement.

Gaurav Khanna's brief stint in "CID" occurred in 2014, when he, along with Chaitanya Choudhary, joined the cast as new police officers during the "Mission Mumbai" series.

The actor has been sharing various anecdotes from his career, including memories of the late Sushant Singh Rajput and his experiences on "Celebrity MasterChef". He also spoke about the initial days in Mumbai, his early work, and his role as Anuj Kapadia in "Anupamaa".

Khanna's story provides a peek into the less serious, more human side of television production, revealing that even on a show about crime investigation, camaraderie and humor find their place.
