Amidst swirling rumors of a rift in his 37-year marriage with Sunita Ahuja, Bollywood actor Govinda has finally addressed the speculation, claiming that his wife is being unknowingly manipulated as part of a larger conspiracy against him. This statement comes after months of media reports suggesting trouble in the couple's marriage.

Govinda's recent remarks follow Sunita Ahuja's interview where she described 2025 as a "disastrous" year due to constant rumors about Govinda's alleged affair. She expressed her unhappiness with the situation, especially considering her age and the impact on her grown-up children.

Breaking his silence, Govinda told a news agency that he felt compelled to speak out to avoid appearing weak or complicit in creating a problematic image of himself. He stated that remaining silent made him appear weak. The actor firmly denied the rumors of marital discord and suggested that a "big conspiracy" was at play.

Govinda elaborated on his concerns, suggesting that even his family members might be unknowingly involved in the alleged conspiracy. "I was told that the people in my family might be unknowingly involved, and they won't realize that they are being used in the initial stages of a big conspiracy," he stated. He implied that problems often originate within the family before spreading outwards.

Addressing his wife Sunita directly, Govinda expressed his belief that she might not realize the extent to which she is being affected by external forces. He said that she may not realize how she herself is being affected by outside forces and that she can never think that she herself has been unknowingly placed in a big conspiracy, with her being thrown into the field as the opening batsman.

"I've been disconnected from work for many years, there's no market for my films," he said, adding, "Please don't mistake this as me complaining. I've rejected many films myself".
